NAFCU Announces Promotion of Hosmer to VP of Marketing

WASHINGTON – The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (www.nafcu.org) announced today that Alicia Hosmer has been promoted to vice president of marketing, effective immediately.

“Alicia has done a remarkable job in building a collaborative, high-performing marketing team,” said Karen Tyson, NAFCU senior vice president of marketing and communications. “She is a phenomenal leader who brings out the best in everyone and everything she touches, and has been instrumental in NAFCU achieving great success this past year.”

Hosmer began her career at NAFCU in 2000 as a graphic designer and has held successively responsible positions within its marketing division.

She was promoted to marketing director in 2007. In that capacity she managed NAFCU’s marketing activities, including research and development of marketing campaigns, collateral materials, advertising, direct mail and e-mail campaigns, the association’s awards program and in-house design services.

Hosmer has played an integral role in guiding key marketing initiatives, including the association’s 2010 rebranding effort, the development and launch of NAFCU’s webcast subscription program in 2008 and its trial member recruitment program, which has flourished since its inception in 2009. In addition, she oversaw the art direction on numerous award-winning campaigns.

She is a graduate of James Madison University.
