NAFCU Services’ Free CULookup.com Calculators Top 1 Million Computations in 2012

Washington, DC – NAFCU Services Corporation today announced that CULookup.com’s award-winning financial calculators have already exceeded more than 1 million calculations by online users for the first six months of 2012. This is a nearly 30 percent increase over last year. At the current rate, calculations on the platform will exceed 2 million by year-end.
“The fact that CULookup.com has already surpassed 1 million calculations in the first half of the year is a testament to how eager consumers are to seek out credit unions for their financial needs,” said NAFCU Services President David Frankil. “Every week, more and more credit unions are adding these calculators to their website as a simple way to aid their members in making key personal finance decisions.”
The calculators are available to the public on www.CULookup.com, and are also free for NAFCU members to use on their websites. There are over 30 calculators that cover five broad categories including home/mortgage, savings, credit, retirement and auto finances. The most popular calculations are found in the auto, mortgage and loan payments sections.
NAFCU Services and their Preferred Partners launched the calculators in February 2010. Since then, over 5,800 customizable calculators have been created by NAFCU members and other credit unions.
