NAFCU’s Berger & Thaler Named Top Lobbyists by ‘The Hill’
WASHINGTON – The Hill, one of Capitol Hill’s political publications, recognized Dan Berger, NAFCU executive vice president for government affairs, and Brad Thaler, NAFCU vice president of legislative affairs, as top association lobbyists. This is the tenth year that Berger has been named to the list, and the fifth year for Thaler.
“Dan and Brad’s consistent recognition as top lobbyists speaks volumes about their exceptional commitment to championing credit unions with members of Congress,” said Fred R. Becker, Jr., NAFCU president and CEO. “In this highly challenging legislative climate, they are great advocates for our members and the industry.”
According to The Hill’s article, Berger and Thaler “work to keep the industry’s tax exemption from being thrown on the fire in tax reform, and are marshalling support for legislation that would let credit unions expand.”
