NARFE Premier Federal Credit Union announces college scholarship winners

ALEXANDRIA, VA (August 19, 2014) — NARFE Premier FCU awarded two $1,000 college scholarships to credit union members Savannah Parson and Cassandra Wolowic. The scholarships are named after the late Honorable Andrew Ferrari and his wife, Dorothy Sue Ferrari, who were long time members of the credit union and strongly believed in the value of a college education. Savannah Parson is a 2014 graduate of Slippery Rock High School in Pennsylvania and plans to attend Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania to major in Political Science. Cassandra Wolowic is a 2014 graduate of Grove City Area High School in Pennsylvania and plans to attend Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania to study Occupational Therapy.

Checks were presented to the scholarship recipients during a celebration at the Roadway Café in Iron Mountain, PA.

The credit union wishes them much success with their academic careers.

NARFE Premier FCU was established in 1935 and serves active and retired federal employees, as well as anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in King George, VA.
