NARFE Premier Federal Credit Union celebrates 80 years of helping people afford life
ALEXANDRIA, VA (April 6, 2015) — The credit union’s cooperative spirit began in 1935 when twelve Civil Service Commission employees met in the basement of the Theodore Roosevelt Building in D.C., with a shared vision of forming an organization that offered financial assistance to their fellow employees. On March 26, 1935, NARFE Premier Federal Credit Union became the 233rd credit union chartered in the United States. To say thank you, the credit union is offering members several special anniversary promotions.
