MAPLE GROVE, Minn. —March 14, 2012 — The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) has announced TopLine Federal Credit Union will take home a national 2012 NAFCU marketing award for “Just Refinanced,” an auto loan refinance campaign the Minnesota-based credit union launched in 2011. The direct mail campaign, offering special auto loan rates and incentives, demonstrated for members how refinancing with TopLine could help save them money.

Entrants from all over America were evaluated on creativity, design, copy, effectiveness and measurability. TopLine’s campaign was selected as Best Lending Promotion from credit unions with assets of $150 million or more.

“The American credit union industry is replete with talented and creative thinkers,” said NAFCU President and CEO Fred Becker. “We’re pleased to once again honor deserving credit unions on a nation wide competitive basis for their stellar marketing efforts.”

“This past year with its unique economic times, more than ever, presented us with an opportunity to reach out to our members to help them save. TopLine, like every credit union, constantly focuses on trying to make our members’ financial lives easier,” said Harry Carter, President/CEO, TopLine Federal Credit Union. “TopLine is committed to helping our members with their personal finances and earning this recognition from our national association is an added bonus.”

Winners will be honored at NAFCU’s 2012 Strategic Growth Conference in Scottsdale, Ariz., March 13-15.

NAFCU is the only national organization that focuses exclusively on issues affecting federally-chartered credit unions, representing its members before the federal government and the public.  For more information, visit
