Navigant Credit Union hires new VP of Learning & Organizational Development

Navigant Credit Union, the largest member-owned credit union in Rhode Island, has added a new member to its growing leadership team.

Navigant Credit Union announced that it has hired Lori Jordan to serve as the Credit Union’s new Vice President of Learning & Organizational Development. Lori joins Navigant Credit Union with more than 25 years of experience in workforce development leadership positions, most recently serving as the senior director of employee engagement & staff development at the Fedcap Group.

In her new role at Navigant Credit Union, Lori will be responsible for providing leadership in the design and implementation of a comprehensive, organization-wide learning and development program. Lori will collaborate with key internal stake holders to assess organizational learning and training needs and provide a training curriculum to support strategic initiatives and enhance employees’ skills.

“With an extensive background in professional development, Lori is an important addition to our growing team. Her unique skill set and passion for her work will provide new and exciting opportunities to improve our leadership structure and training programs,” said Navigant Credit Union President/CEO Gary E. Furtado.

Lori earned her bachelor’s degree in general studies & human studies from the University of Rhode Island; her master’s Degree in education & instructional Design from the University of Massachusetts; and her doctorate in education & educational leadership for the University of New England. She teaches graduate-level classes at Rhode Island College as an adjunct professor, a position she has held since 2018.
