NCUA Board Member Hood hosts Capital Markets Symposium on April 11 at the NYSE

ALEXANDRIA, VA (April 7, 2023) — National Credit Union Administration Board Member Rodney E. Hood is hosting a Capital Markets Symposium at the New York Stock Exchange in New York City on Tuesday, April 11, beginning at 11 a.m. Eastern.

This half-day hybrid event will bring together professionals from credit unions and other stakeholders in the financial services industry to discuss:

  • Managing liquidity risks;
  • Utilizing derivatives contracts and interest rate swaps;
  • Accessing the capital markets for asset securitizations; and
  • Using subordinated debt and secondary capital strategically.

The event is headlined by Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Rostin Behnam, Federal Home Loan Bank of New York President José González, and Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta President Kirk Malmberg.
