NCUA Chairman Todd M. Harper addresses the Inclusiv 2023 Annual Conference

ALEXANDRIA, VA (May 3, 2023) — National Credit Union Administration Chairman Todd M. Harper spoke before the audience of Inclusiv’s 2023 Annual Conference in Memphis, Tennessee, today. Chairman Harper also participated in a panel discussion with Cathie Mahon, CEO of Inclusiv.

In his remarks, Chairman Harper described the NCUA’s new examination procedures for minority depository institutions and encouraged eligible credit unions to apply for the 2023 Community Development Revolving Loan Fund grant round. He also discussed the issue of access to capital and the agency’s subordinated debt rule, which is designed to support and preserve small credit unions and minority depository institutions.
