Neighbors FCU and South Carolina FCU announce friendly wager for LSU-Clemson championship game
BATON ROUGE, LA (January 13, 2020) — In an effort to promote the credit union movement and raise awareness about how credit unions work together to improve communities, Neighbors FCU challenged South Carolina FCU to a friendly wager of $1,000 on Monday’s National Championship between LSU and Clemson.
With an LSU win, South Carolina FCU will donate $1,000 to the Neighbors Capital Area Foundation benefitting the Neighbors Way Tuition Assistance Award scholarship program. Should Clemson win, Neighbors FCU will donate $1,000 to the South Carolina Federal scholarship fund.
Both companies’ CEOs made a state via social media.
“It’s been an incredible season for LSU right here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana,” Neighbors President and CEO Steve Webb said. “Should Clemson win, we’ll donate $1,000 to the South Carolina Federal scholarship fund.”
The videos announcing the bet can be found on Neighbors FCU and South Carolina Federal’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
