New CUNA E-Scan provides trend analysis for 2014-2015 strategic planning

MADISON, WI (May 30, 2014) — Credit Union National Association (CUNA) announced the release of its comprehensive annual research compilation for credit unions, the 2014-2015 CUNA Environmental Scan (E-Scan) Report. The report compiles and analyzes data to forecast upcoming industry trends and guide credit unions’ strategic planning efforts. The report is available now at cuna.org/strategicplanning.

“The nature of strategic planning is to make the tough decisions to drive positive business outcomes,” said Doug Benzine, vice president of publishing and strategic resources at CUNA. “We prepare the E-Scan Report each year in user-friendly formats to make sure credit unions have the reliable data and valuable insights they need to make those tough decisions and plan with confidence.”

The E-Scan helps credit union planning teams develop insightful strategies by first identifying the key issues that will affect the future of their credit unions. Planning teams can then address those issues with solutions and advice from E-Scan’s industry experts. Available in print, eBook and PDF formats, the E-Scan’s comprehensive analysis gives credit union planning teams a complete and accurate source of trend research and forecasting for the coming year.

This year’s report covers timely strategic topics including:

·         Marketing/business development

·         Technology and payments

·         Human resources

·         Economics, finance and lending

·         Compliance and legislation

·         Political advocacy

New this year: Free access to the E-Scan App will be included with the E-Scan Report, giving purchasers further insights, video updates and additional interactive information.
