MADISON, WI (July 14, 2014) — Is your credit union prepared for the next big cybersecurity breach? Is your cybersecurity plan in place?

A new white paper from the CUNA Technology Council, “Cybersecurity Preparedness: Taming the Shock and Awe of Big Breaches,” explores the importance of making cybersecurity a top priority and/or a core function, educating members and protecting their financial information, communicating effectively when a breach happens, laws and regulations relating to cybersecurity, and some of the lessons learned from the big breaches.

This white paper is the first in a series of four white papers devoted to security in 2014.

CUNA Council members are eligible to receive complimentary copies of this, and more than 300 other white papers; non-Council members may purchase white papers for $50 per copy.

The paper is available online in the white paper section of www.cunacouncils.org.
