New Information Technology Director named at Dow Chemical Employees’ Credit Union

MIDLAND, MI (December 11, 2014) — Dow Chemical Employees’ Credit Union has named Norman “Mike” Zureich as the credit union’s new Information Technology Director.

“Mike has a deep understanding of the technology side of organizations and how it complements and improves member interaction and satisfaction,” said DCECU President/CEO Dennis Hanson. “He has many great ideas for improvements that will help us continue to provide our members with the best products and services with seamless transitions. Mike will be an asset to our team here at DCECU, and we are looking forward to working with him.”

Zureich last served as the Program Manager of Resource Management at GalaxE.Solutions, Inc., in Detroit. During his tenure, he managed 500+ onshore resources across four global strategic business units for Fortune 100 clients worldwide and was instrumental in improving overall resource utilization by 15 percent. He effectively increased customer satisfaction and market share by leading and improving the collaboration of cross-functional teams. Zureich also developed, coached and mentored junior team members.

Prior to his time at GalaxE.Solutions, Zureich served as a high school mathematics teacher for Ypsilanti Public Schools and as a Technical Resource Manager for Siemens PLM Software, Inc.

Zureich holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Mathematics and Fine Arts and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Eastern Michigan University.
