Northern States Power St. Paul Credit Union selects Sharetec
MINNESOTA, MN (November 13, 2014) — Sharetec System, one of the fastest growing core systems offering a true return on your investment, announces Northern States Power St. Paul Credit Union (NSP) in St. Paul, MN, has chosen Sharetec as their new core system.
NSP began its search over a year ago when enlisting the help of a firm that assists credit unions in the search for new core systems. After significant research and comparison, including a detailed Request for Proposal, NSP identified Sharetec as the system that will help advance the functionality both within the credit union for the staff and for its member’s self-service needs.
“Our credit union had reached a point that our current core system was constraining our growth and unfortunately was not pacing well with the current technology needs of our staff and members,” commented Mary Hoylo-Nelson, President/CEO. “We need a system that could provide the tools to be more efficient in lending and also automate the manual tasks we have to do as a staff and Sharetec delivered all that and more with a cost effective model.”
NSP had also invested in other key solutions prior to the search for a core that they were not able to integrate but with the open architecture of Sharetec all the systems within the credit union could work seamlessly together.
