Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) President and CEO Tom Gryp announced today the promotion of Crystal Waggoner to Chief Operations Officer (COO). Waggoner joined the credit union in 1999 and was most recently the Director of Operations. Throughout her Notre Dame FCU career, Waggoner has also worked in the departments of mortgage, accounting, and electronic services.
After graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in business, Waggoner also earned a Graduate Certificate in forensic accounting from Davenport University. During her time with the credit union, Waggoner became an accredited ACH Professional (AAP) and a NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO).
Waggoner has played an integral role in the credit union’s adoption and implementation of mobile check capture, digital wallets, and fraud-prevention mobile app Irish Card Shield. Waggoner is currently working with her team to further develop the credit union’s business service offerings.
