Nusenda Credit Union named Best Credit Union in Rio Rancho for fifth consecutive year

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (November 4, 2022) — Nusenda Credit Union was recently named Best Credit Union and Best Bank in the 2022 Rio Rancho Observer’s Readers’ Choice poll. This is the fifth year that Nusenda has received the honor. The Credit Union was also named runner-up in the Best Business Donor category.

“We know that our members expect friendly service and affordable products and services that meet their individual needs,” said Nusenda President and CEO Joe Christian. “Nusenda looks forward to continuing to serve our members, helping them improve their financial well-being, and investing in the Rio Rancho community.”

Nusenda prioritizes the financial well-being of its members in a variety of ways, including member rewards and dividends, top savings and loan rates, and reduced fees. In 2021, Nusenda provided over $34 million in direct savings to members. In the same year, Nusenda, along with the Nusenda Foundation, donated $1.7 million to local communities and the organizations that support them.

Nusenda Credit Union employs more than 700 New Mexicans and has hired 165 new employees so far in 2022 to support its members across the state. The latest growth includes Santa Fe branches at DeVargas Center and a soon-to-be open location at 5621 Herrera Drive.

Nusenda has consistently been recognized as Best Bank in various reader’s choice polls this year, most recently in The Albuquerque Journal, Best of Taos, and The Paper.
