NW Plus CU earns Juntos Avanzamos designation

“Committed to serving and empowering Hispanic and immigrant consumers”

NW Plus Credit Union announced Tuesday 3/14/2023 that is has been recognized as an official Juntos Avanzamos credit union. This designation is awarded to credit unions that are committed to serving and empowering Hispanic and immigrant consumers, providing safe, affordable and relevant financial services.

To earn the Juntos Avanzamos designation, the credit union completed an extensive application process highlighting its capacity and experience working with and servicing its immigrant communities. Employing bilingual, culturally-competent staff, accepting alternate forms of identification and offering ITIN lending to its Hispanic and immigrant members.

With over 4,800 credit unions nationwide NW Plus is one of only 127 credit unions to earn the Juntos Avanzamos designation.

Located in Snohomish and Skagit County, NW Plus Credit Union was founded in 1939 and has provided financial services to the employees and family members of Frontier Communications formerly known as GTE and Verizon. Since then, we have expanded our charter to include anyone who lives, works, or worships in the State of Washington
