One Nevada Credit Union announces matching donation to Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada

LAS VEGAS, NV (June 7, 2019) — Make-A-Wish® Southern Nevada received $2,510 in donations from One Nevada Credit Union’s annual spring shred event. The shredding service is free to the public, but donations were accepted benefiting Make-A-Wish. Las Vegas residents donated a record $1,255 for the safe shred of their unwanted documents. The event was so successful that One Nevada decided to match the donation for a total contribution of $2,510 to Make-A-Wish. The donation will help southern Nevada’s local Make-A-Wish Chapter in its mission to grant wishes for children diagnosed with a critical illness.

“We are so grateful for our partnership with One Nevada. It’s because of corporate partners like One Nevada that we’re able to fulfill our mission of granting wishes for children who are battling critical illnesses,” said Sheila Marcello, Corporate and Community Development Manager for Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada.
