Hagerstown, MD – Ongoing Operations, the leading business continuity CUSO, has expanded its data center and workspace facilities with a new Middletown, Virginia location. The Middletown disaster recovery center is located approximately 80 miles west of Washington, DC and will provide more options for credit unions in the region.

“We are excited about adding this facility to our three other disaster recovery centers. It’s a great location and it will help us continue to serve credit unions in the Washington, DC metropolitan area by providing the additional data center capacity and workspace they require,” said Kirk Drake, CEO of Ongoing Operations.

Prior to Ongoing Operations’ expansion into this facility, the building served as an AT&T data center. The entire facility was recently retrofitted and enhanced with a host of major security, mechanical and electrical upgrades. AT&T continues to occupy a portion of the building as a tenant and provides disaster recovery services there for several clients.

The CUSO’s other facilities are located in Hagerstown, Maryland; Phoenix, Arizona; and Longmont, Colorado. This new facility is immediately available for credit union clients in need of co-location, workspace, connectivity or other solutions.
