Palmetto First FCU shares fundamentals of finances with local schools and businesses

FLORENCE, SC (January 23, 2013)Palmetto First Federal Credit Union is now offering on-site financial education for schools and businesses as part of our mission of reaching out to the community. Presenters from Palmetto can teach the necessary basics of personal finances.  Among the suggested topics to be discussed: balancing a checkbook, creating a budget, the basics of saving, and how to get a handle on debt.

“We’re pleased to offer a variety of financial subjects in our outreach to the people of Florence County,” said Angie Burr, CEO of Palmetto First. “We’re ready to tailor a program that’s interesting for your staff or students.”

There’s no cost for these informative sessions which may be scheduled at the convenience of the participating office or school.
