Park Community Credit Union, and the Louisville Urban League presents 2nd annual Girls’ Summit 2019
LOUISVILLE, KY (May 20, 2019) — Park Community Credit Union, and the Louisville Urban League are, once again, putting Louisville’s most dynamic women on center stage at the 2019 Middle School Girls’ Summit at the Gheens Foundation Lodge at the Parklands on Thursday, June 20th.
The 2019 Girl’s Summit draws on the insights of accomplished women in the Louisville community to help cultivate young girls into future leaders “Girls in this age group face so many challenges during this important time in their lives. We want to help build them up and develop some practical skills they’ll need in the future,” said Carla Robinson of the Louisville Urban League.
The Summit will feature speakers, mentors and participants including University of Louisville Women’s Basketball Coach Beth Burns, Chancellor Dugan, Bellarmine University Women’s Basketball Coach, Olympic Swimmer Kelsi Worrell and Lauren Coulter, organizer of Lemonade Day Louisville, just to name a few.
