Patrick Kirby earns Certified Professional Estimator Certification

SEATTLE, WA (May 7, 2015) — Patrick Kirby, Project Estimator, at Momentum, a national plan-design-build firm has successfully completed the requirements to earn the designation of Certified Professional Estimator (CPE). This is a prestigious, nationally recognized credential that provides an objective measure of an individual’s broad-based knowledge and competency in construction estimating.

To earn and maintain this credential, candidates must have a minimum of five years of on-the-job experience, pass rigorous exams, submit a technical paper for peer review grading, and must participate in continuing education programs.

Kirby’s professional career has spanned nearly two decades, starting as a Project Engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area for three years then relocated to the Seattle area working for a developer and multiple construction firms over the past seventeen plus years. In his current position, Kirby draws upon his past professional experiences to assist Momentum’s clientele with budgeting turnkey solutions for their new modern commercial facilities.

This achievement is considered a milestone in an individual’s professional development and represents the individual’s commitment to continuous improvement in the construction industry.
