Payment Risk and Crisis Communications Take the Stage at Vizo Financial’s 2023 Risk Management Conference in Hershey, Pa.

GREENSBORO, NC (March 9, 2023) — It’s all about risk and reward at Vizo Financial’s 2023 Risk Management Conference at The Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pa. on April 20-21, 2023. Credit unions are invited to join the Corporate for this two-day event, featuring educational sessions as presented by industry experts and networking opportunities.

“We’re really excited about the sessions we have lined up for this year’s Risk Management Conference,” said Jaime Agostino, marketing and business development director for Vizo Financial. “We’re always looking for leading organizations to present on topics that we know to be vital to credit unions. So, we’re thrilled to have these amazing speakers lead discussions on real risks within our industry and can’t wait to see the benefits that credit unions will glean from these sessions.”

From a tabletop simulation to the risks credit unions could face in 2023, Vizo Financial has a diverse range of topics and educational sessions planned for attendees with the chance to earn up to 10 CPE credits. Two sessions that attendees might find extremely relevant in 2023 include: crisis management and payment risk.

Anthony Huey, president of Reputation Management, LLC, is joining Vizo Financial at the Risk Management Conference to present ways to take action and sway internal and external perception of an organization during a crisis. The session will cover planning for a crisis, communicating during the crisis, managing social media, controlling the narrative, protecting the organization’s reputation and filling the reservoir of goodwill.

To present on the fundamentals of payment risk will be Jessica Lelii, director of education for Macha/PAR. In this session, attendees will learn how to detect, prepare for and mitigate various types of risk inherent in the payment channels credit unions use every day, as well as best practices for controlling those risks.
