Pelican State Credit Union named one of best places to work

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA – Pelican State Credit Union was recently named as one of the 2014 Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge. The awards program is presented by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and sponsored by the Greater Baton Rouge Society for Human Resource Management and the Louisiana WorkForce Commission.

The independent survey conducted by Best Companies Group analyzed and ranked firms on eight core focus areas: leadership and planning; corporate culture and communications; role satisfaction; work environment; relationship with supervisor; training; development and resources; pay and benefits; and overall engagement.

This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Baton Rouge, benefiting its economy, its workforce and businesses. Companies from across the region entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge. Pelican was ranked number 33 out of 38 companies selected for this honor.
