PenAir Credit Union (PenAir) is proud to announce the appointment of Jay Wells as Vice President of Marketing and Communications, bringing a nationally-recognized financial services marketing leader to the organization's senior leadership ranks as it continues investing in growth, innovation, and exceptional member experiences.
Wells has built a distinguished career creating growth strategies for leading consumer and financial brands. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Head of Digital Marketing Solutions at EXL, a global data analytics and AI company, where he built and scaled a high-performing marketing practice serving financial institutions nationwide.
At PenAir, Wells will lead the credit union's marketing and corporate communications, bringing national expertise in member acquisition, deepening relationships, and brand growth, to help advance PenAir's purpose and strengthen its position as a leading financial institution.

He has shaped marketing strategies for major consumer brands as well as financial institutions, earning recognition from some of the industry's most prestigious award programs, including the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the Effie Awards for marketing effectiveness.
