People’s Credit Union promotes Hunter to Sales & Marketing Manager

MIDDLETON, RI (December 10, 2013) — Nancy Quick, VP of Sales and Service for People’s Credit Union, is pleased to announce the promotion of Courtney Hunter to Sales and Marketing Manager.  In her new role, she will oversee the daily activities of the Sales & Marketing Department and will work with the department to implement sales and marketing campaigns to achieve strategic goals and execute marketing strategy through all the Credit Union’s sales channels.  She is also responsible for administering the Credit Union’s community sponsorships and donations.  In addition, she will oversee public relations activities and community events.

Hunter has been with People’s Credit Union since 2002 when she was hired as an Assistant Branch Manager.  She has held several positions throughout the Credit Union including, Conversion Trainer, Branch Manager of Wakefield, North Kingstown and the former Friendship Street branch in Newport.  She was promoted in 2006 to the position of Membership Relationship Manager and most recently held the position of Business Development Officer.  Prior to joining People’s, Hunter held various positions in marketing, communications and retail banking.

“Courtney’s knowledge and enthusiasm has made her a valuable member of our team. With her extensive experience in marketing, public relations and business development, I am certain she will thrive in this new position,” commented Quick.

Hunter received her B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Jamestown Arts Center and the Board of Directors for the Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County.  In 2012, she was honored with the East Bay Community Action Program’s Vision Award and in February, she received the Credit Union’s 2012 Volunteer of the Year Award for her dedication to non-profit organizations in the community.  She resides in Jamestown with her husband, Andy.
