PSECU’s Richards named to PA Business Central’s top 100 people of 2025

Harrisburg, PA (February 11, 2025) |

Candice Richards, Regional Membership Development Manager at PSECU, has been named one of PA Business Central’s (PBC) 2025 Top 100 People. The annual list celebrates individuals who contribute significantly to their industries and communities across central Pennsylvania through “exceptional vision, dedication, and leadership.”  This marks Richards’ first time receiving this distinguished honor.

"I'm incredibly humbled to be included on this year's Top 100 People list," said Richards. "My  role focuses on building partnerships that expand access to financial education and resources for young people and underserved communities. This recognition underscores PSECU’s and my shared dedication to providing our members and communities with the tools to achieve financial security and success."

In her current role, Richards oversees PSECU’s educational centers on six college campuses, delivering financial literacy programs and fostering strategic relationships with businesses, universities, and community organizations. Under her leadership, PSECU has launched free financial literacy workshops that benefit hundreds of students and community members annually. She has also introduced mentorship programs that prepare young people for financial independence, significantly enhancing PSECU’s reach and impact in underserved communities.

Since joining PSECU in 2014, Richards has played an instrumental part in advancing the credit union’s mission of "people helping people." She has driven the establishment of three new education centers, collectively serving thousands of students annually, and collaborated with university faculty to create career development seminars that equip students to succeed financially during and after college.
