Redwood Credit Union announces new executives

Cynthia Negri Named Chief Operating Officer and Ron Felder Named Chief Lending Officer.

SANTA ROSA, CA (September 2, 2014) — Redwood Credit Union (RCU) recently promoted Cynthia Negri to Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer and Ron Felder to Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer.

Ms. Negri, a 17-year employee and RCU’s previous Chief Lending Officer, now oversees all operational functions of the 237,000-member institution, including Branch Operations, Wealth Management, Marketing & Communications, Member Experience, Member Service Center, Project Management and Remote Delivery. Mr. Felder, who joined RCU as Senior Vice President of Retail Lending in 2013, has assumed Ms. Negri’s former role to head both retail and business lending.

Ms. Negri became RCU’s Chief Lending Officer in 2013, where she was instrumental in the launch of RCU’s solar loan program. She previously served as senior vice president of retail lending.

Mr. Felder joined RCU as Senior Vice President of Retail Lending in July of 2013, bringing 24 years of financial services management experience, most recently as chief credit officer at Patelco Credit Union.

The transition recently went into effect upon the retirement of RCU’s previous Chief Operations Officer Anne Benjamin. Ms. Benjamin served as RCU’s EVP/COO since 2004, part of a 35-year career in credit unions.
