Redwood Credit Union’s Donna Zapata honored as ‘Woman of the Year’
RCU Business Development Officer Recognized by Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
NAPA, CA (August 6, 2014)— The Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce honored Donna Zapata, Business Development Officer for Redwood Credit Union (RCU), as “Woman of the Year” at the group’s fourth-annual award and recognition gala “Blend of Cultures” on July 25.
Ms. Zapata joined RCU in 2013 to focus on the development of partnerships and promotion of financial literacy in the Hispanic community. She previously served as Executive Director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Sonoma County for four years. Ms. Zapata was also appointed Vice President of the Napa County Hispanic Chamber’s board of directors at the gala event.
“This recognition is another example of the kind of dedication Donna brings to her role at RCU,” said Andy Ramos, RCU’s Senior Vice President of Member Services. “Her community focus and mentorship have been invaluable, and her commitment to RCU’s philosophy of ‘people helping people’ is a great asset for the communities we serve.”
Donna Zapata was one of eight local entrepreneurs and community leaders honored for working for the betterment of the Napa Latino community.
