Registration open for November 10th Veteran 2 Entrepreneur event at Patton Museum

RADCLIFF, KY (October 7, 2022) — Abound Credit Union and the Kentucky Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host their seventh annual Veteran 2 Entrepreneur workshop on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 9am – 12pm ET at the General George Patton Museum in Ft. Knox, Kentucky.

This event was developed to help area veterans cultivate their entrepreneurial skills as they transition to small business ownership after leaving military service. Colonel Lance O’Bryan will provide the keynote for the event. Other special guests will include Chris Cruise, Owner and Founder of Cruise Custom Flags, and Grant Simpson, Director of Commercial Lending for Abound Credit Union.

The free, in-person workshop provides informational sessions to help veterans start, grow and fund small businesses. Participants at this year’s event will learn from successful veteran small business owners, resource partners and experts. In addition, attendees will have expanded networking opportunities this year with new resource tables. Representatives from the SBA, SBDC, USA Cares, Abound, and successful veteran business owners will be on-site to speak one-on-one with veterans after the formal presentations conclude.

“Abound is proud to support military families and offer resources to assist veterans in starting small businesses. When veterans become successful entrepreneurs, they strengthen the entire community,” says Ray Springsteen, President & CEO. “For more than 70 years, we’ve been committed to improving financial lives and this ongoing partnership with the SBDC is a great way to meet the unique needs of our military members.”
