Reliant Federal Credit Union hosts free community event: Downtown Day of Discovery

Register for scavenger hunt by May 15 and receive a free t-shirt

CASPER, WY (May 5, 2015) — Reliant Federal Credit Union is hosting the Downtown Day of Discovery scavenger hunt on Saturday, June 13. This free, community event is designed to encourage teamwork and problem solving in a fun, outdoor environment. The event is open to teams of 2-5 people of all ages (minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 or older).

“The Day of Discovery will be a fun, safe way for our community to come out and learn things they may not know about downtown Casper,” said Steve Higginson, President and CEO of Reliant Federal Credit Union. “We’re hoping that by participating in the scavenger hunt, people will enjoy themselves, discover new things about our home town, and possibly win prizes in the process.”

Participating teams will receive a cluebook and will set off on an adventure that will require creativity, problem-solving, riddles and puzzles. Teams will receive tally marks for each clue and then be eligible to win prizes at the end of the scavenger hunt.

Registration is free, and teams that register before May 15 will receive a free t-shirt for their participation. Early registration is encouraged. To register, or for more information, visit www.reliantfcu.com/downtowndayofdiscovery

About Reliant Federal Credit Union

Reliant Federal Credit Union serves any individual who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Natrona or Converse counties, or any close relative or household member of any existing Reliant FCU member. Reliant Federal Credit Union was established in Casper Wyoming in 1936 during the height of the Great Depression. At that time, few families could obtain affordable credit, and trust in banks was at an all-time low. As a financial institution owned by its members, our goal at that time—and today—was to bring affordable financial services to members, and help them fulfill their dreams.

Today, Reliant has expanded to serve more than 11,000 members in both Natrona and Converse Counties with four branches, and a broad array of electronic services to help you manage your money anytime, from anywhere. For more information, visit www.reliantfcu.com.
