REV Federal Credit Union proudly celebrated its fifth annual REV Day for Good, a companywide day of service observed annually on Indigenous Peoples’ Day and dedicated to giving back to the communities REV serves throughout the Carolinas. As part of its ongoing commitment to #UpTheGood, team members across both states stepped away from their desks and put on their gold volunteer shirts to support dozens of nonprofit organizations making a difference locally.
In North Carolina, REV team members united to volunteer at five different sites throughout the day, demonstrating the credit union’s deep commitment to community impact and shared purpose
The Cape Fear region team spent the day supporting several local organizations, including:
• First Fruit Ministries, assisting with food distribution during the Moms Pantry.
• Canines for Service, helping care for service dogs in training.
• Diaper Bank of the Lower Cape Fear, bundling diapers for families in need.
Meanwhile, the Hamlet branch team partnered with Richmond County Partnership for Children, lending a hand at a Family Festival to support early childhood development. The team also volunteered with Backpack Pals, packing nourishing food to help children facing food insecurity.
In celebration of the fifth year of REV Day for Good, the #UpTheGood Foundation Powered by REV donated $500 to each of the volunteer project sites in North Carolina. These contributions not only supported the immediate impact of volunteer efforts but also helped strengthen the organizations’ capacity to serve the community year-round. By pairing hands-on volunteerism with meaningful financial support, REV continues to live out its mission to #UpTheGood in the communities where its members and employees live and work.

Since launching in 2019, REV Day for Good has grown into a powerful annual event mobilizing hundreds of team members to support nonprofit partners across the Carolinas. Through this initiative, REV continues to build meaningful partnerships, strengthen communities, and inspire others to #UpTheGood.
