Robins Federal Credit Union employees raise over $24,000 to CUPAC

WARNER ROBINS, GA (October 27, 2014) — Each year Robins Federal Credit Union employees are offered the option to participate in a program they call Deduct-A-Buck. Employees commit to donate a minimum of $3.00 per pay period to CUPAC in exchange they get to wear jeans on Fridays and Saturdays. During this year’s campaign Robins Federal staff pledged over $24,156 to CUPAC.

The Deduct-A-Buck program at Robins Federal is completely voluntary. Employees are educated on the importance of supporting Credit Union Political Action and are encouraged to participate. The campaign runs for 2 weeks giving employees the opportunity to sign up or make changes to their current contribution. At the conclusion of the campaign the branches and departments that have 100% participation are entered in to a drawing for free lunch.

In the past 5 years the Robins Federal staff has contributed over $100,000 through the Deduct-A-Buck program.
