Robins Federal Credit Union honors retiree

WARNER ROBINS, GA (June 30, 2015) — Robins Federal Credit Union board member, Harold “Buzz” Sawyer recently received the Moses C. Davis Volunteer of the Year award from the Georgia Credit Union League. This award is presented to someone based on their significant and contemporary contributions to their credit union, involvement with the credit union movement and unselfish devotion to his/her duties as a credit union volunteer.

Sawyer will be retiring this year after 49 years of service. He has served 23 years as Treasurer, 4 years as Chairman, 2 years as Vice Chairman and on several committees throughout the years.

Sawyer’s dedication and strong leadership, as well as his commitment to member education and staff development has helped Robins Federal achieve outstanding growth. He is the type of leader who will inspire those that follow in his footsteps because of the value he placed on making our member’s interests his top priority.
