Robins Federal Credit Union Recognized with Environmental Award

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently received an Environmental Award from Cintas Document Management for the impact made in 2011.

Robins Federal has partnered with Cintas Document Management since 2005 for destruction of their confidential documents. Robins Federal Credit Union was able to save 1,306 trees, 29,189 gallons of oil, and 537,688 gallons of water through their shredding efforts. These numbers are determined by the tonnage recycled. The shredded material is further placed through a pulping process and used as a raw material for paper products.

Robins Federal Credit Union is a local non-profit financial cooperative with nineteen branches in central Georgia. Robins Federal currently provides financial services to over 144,000 members, with assets exceeding $1.7 billion. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in the 16 counties Robins Federal serves.
