Robins Financial Credit Union announces Manager, Employee and Branch of the Year

WARNER ROBINS, GA (February 14, 2020) — Each year, Robins Financial Credit Union selects employees that represent the best of the best in two categories – Manager of the Year and Employee of the Year. Employees are selected by management based on their outstanding work performance and written recommendations from their peers. In addition, Robins Financial management selects a branch of the year based on performance and the contribution the branch makes to the community and to the credit union over all.

The winners chosen for 2019 were as follows:

Barbara Mead – Manager of the Houston Lake Branch, has been chosen as the 2019 Manager of the Year. She has been employed by Robins Financial Credit Union for 35 years. Mead is an active member of Civitan International. She is a leader among her peers and motivates her team through her enthusiasm and encouragement.

Jason Atkinson – Mortgage Loan Originator for the Mortgage department, has been chosen as the 2019 Employee of the Year. Jason exceeded his goals last year and when he’s not meeting with members, he’s busy with business development activities.

Athens Branch – The Athens Branch led by manager, Joe Wyrick, has been chosen as the 2019 Branch of the Year. The branch continuously exceeded its new account and loan goals throughout the year, while providing excellent member service.

In addition, the Athens branch has continued to exceed all expectations in the area of growth and overall member experience,” said John Rhea, President/CEO.

Employee and Manager of the Year awards were presented to Barbara Mead and Jason Atkinson.

Branch of the Year award was presented to the Athens Branch.
