Rosemarie Egan of Athens wins iPad in Georgia United Credit Union CAN HUNGER Contest
ATHENS, GA (April 22, 2014) — Georgia United Credit Union congratulates Rosemarie Egan of Athens as the winner of their CAN HUNGER iPad drawing contest! All members who donated a can to Georgia United’s Annual CAN HUNGER Food Drive and completed a drawing ticket were eligible to be entered to win. Georgia United’s CAN HUNGER drive collected 42,223 cans (21 tons) for local food banks and Rosemarie’s name was selected at random to receive an iPad Air notebook.
Rosemarie stopped by Georgia United’s 190 Gaines School Road Branch today to pick up her prize and told Branch Manager Chris Conway, “I work at Kroger and bank with Georgia United so it was easy for me to buy a few extra canned goods to donate to this worthy cause. I really didn’t think about the iPad drawing until I got the call that I had won!”
