San Diego County Credit Union is proud to present the North Park Festival of Arts
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 14, 2014) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally owned financial institution, is the presenting sponsor of the 18th Annual North Park Festival of Arts. More than 40,000 people are expected to attend the event, held along University near 30th St., which is packed full with entertainment and activities from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2014.

The North Park Branch opened its doors earlier this year, providing a convenient location for a large number of customers in the area to attain breakthrough banking products. The Branch occupies the first floor of a high-rise office building at 3180 University Ave. Ste. 100, dubbed the “sdccu.com Tower.” The building has a unique exterior lighting display designed to embrace North Park’s Arts District and rightfully so with the Forbes Magazine designation as one of America’s Top Hippest Hipster neighborhoods.

The all-day festival will feature local art, exciting live music and dance performances, eco-friendly activities, a variety of shopping opportunities, great food and dozens of vendor booths, including one hosted by SDCCU. There will also be a hands-on Kids Art Block, providing kids the opportunity to participate in interactive activities designed to stimulate and inspire their imaginations and create their own masterpieces.
Event proceeds benefit North Park Main Street, the non-profit organization committed to the revitalization of the North Park Improvement District.
