San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, is the proud title sponsor of the 23nd Annual San Diego County Credit Union Festival of Arts in North Park. More than 40,000 people are expected to attend the event, held along University Ave. near 30thSt., which will be packed full with art, entertainment and activities from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019.
“SDCCU is pleased to be the title sponsor of the San Diego County Credit Union Festival of Arts in North Park,” said SDCCU President and CEO Teresa Campbell. “We are proud to bring people from all over San Diego together to explore the historic North Park neighborhood and enjoy live music, art and delicious local food.”
The all-day festival will feature local art, live music and dance performances and unique food and over 100 vendor booths, including one hosted by SDCCU. The festival will celebrate all types of art forms, including a live art element. There will also be a hands-on Kids Art Block, providing kids the opportunity to participate in interactive activities designed to stimulate and inspire their imaginations and create their own masterpieces.
Festival attendees are also encouraged to stop by SDCCU’s flagship branch—located in the sdccu.com tower on University Ave.—representing a gateway into the historic North Park neighborhood. The North Park Branch is located on the first floor of a high-rise office building at 3180 University Ave., Ste. 100, dubbed the “sdccu.com tower.” Itopened its doors in 2014, providing a convenient location for a large number of customers in the area to attain breakthrough banking products. The ATM dispenses $1, $5 and $20 bills, making for easy transactions with festival vendors. The sdccu.com tower has a unique exterior lighting display designed to embrace North Park’s Arts District, highlighting what Forbes Magazine designated as one of America’s Top Hippest Hipster neighborhoods.
