SAN DIEGO, Calif., (May 08, 2025) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, was named the winner of two Silver Stevie® Awards in the 23rd Annual American Business Awards. SDCCU’s Stuff the Bus campaign took home the award in the category of Achievement in Corporate Social Responsibility and SDCCU’s Lift Up Literacy campaign was awarded in the category of Communication PR Campaign of the Year for Community Relations.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in a wide range of categories.
