Utilities Employees Credit Union partners with InvestiFi to bring digital investing to members

The credit union will provide members with access to stocks, ETFs and cryptocurrency investing directly within its existing digital banking platform.

Dover, DE (July 27, 2026) |

Utilities Employees Credit Union (UECU) has announced a partnership with InvestiFi, the award-winning digital investing solutions provider for financial institutions, to introduce embedded investing capabilities to its members. Through the partnership, members will be able to invest in stocks, ETFs and cryptocurrencies directly from their checking accounts, all within the digital banking platform they already know and trust.

UECU is a full-service credit union serving over 64,000 members throughout the United States. Membership is available to employees of utility and energy companies as well as residents of Pennsylvania. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, the credit union returns value to its members through competitive rates, low-cost lending, member rewards and financial wellness resources.

The credit union is also among just 4% of US credit unions to have achieved BauerFinancial's Best of Bauer status, recognizing institutions that have earned the firm's highest 5-Star rating for financial strength for 35 consecutive years. In 2025, S&P Global also ranked UECU in the top 10% for overall financial performance of credit unions with over $100 million in assets.

Commenting on the new partnership, Bret Krevolin, President and CEO of Utilities Employees Credit Union, said: "Partnering with InvestiFi was a natural next step for us as we continue to enhance our members' digital banking capabilities. As their trusted financial partner, we are dedicated to delivering digital experiences that not only address their everyday banking needs but also empower them to achieve their long-term financial goals.

"We are excited to provide our members with tools that will help them work towards their financial futures within the digital banking platform they already know and trust."

Through the partnership, UECU members will gain access to InvestiFi's full suite of investment solutions, including professionally managed portfolios, self-directed trading across more than 6,500 stocks and ETFs, and access to cryptocurrency investing, all within the credit union's existing digital banking platform.

InvestiFi will also provide all of UECU's members with access to its financial education resources, designed to enhance financial literacy and support informed, long-term financial planning within a trusted and secure banking environment.

Kian Sarreshteh, CEO of InvestiFi, added: "We are proud to partner with a credit union that has spent decades supporting utility and energy workers nationwide and helping its members work towards their financial goals."

"In 2026, we're seeing more credit unions embrace digital investing as a way to keep members within the trusted financial relationships they already value. Rather than sending members to third-party platforms, institutions like UECU are delivering a seamless and secure investing experience directly within digital banking.

"Members expect investing to be as accessible as everyday banking. By bringing professionally managed investing, self-directed trading and cryptocurrency investing into a single digital experience, credit unions are helping members access investing tools without leaving the trusted financial institution they already rely on.”
