San Diego County Credit Union supporting Presents for Paws

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 27, 2013) — San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, is participating in “Presents for Paws,” a special holiday fundraising campaign benefitting the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA.

SDCCU hopes to raise $10,000 throughout the holiday season for the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA, according to Teresa Halleck, president and CEO of San Diego County Credit Union. Donations are accepted at all SDCCU branch locations and through a link on its website, sdccu.com.

Last year, SDCCU’s “Presents for Paws” campaign exceeded the $10,000 goal, raising a total of $12,584.

“We are proud to support Presents for Paws,” said Halleck. “Our four-legged friends want to have happy holidays, too. Help us raise much-needed funds for animals in need by making a donation this holiday season. Your donations will help save precious animals.”

The mission of the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is to promote the humane treatment of animals, prevent cruelty to animals, and provide education to enhance the human-animal bond.
