San Francisco FCU chosen as financial institution for Youth Jobs+ Program
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 3, 2015) — San Francisco Federal Credit Union, a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution serving San Francisco and San Mateo Counties, has partnered with San Francisco’s Youth Jobs+ as the chosen financial institution for its revolutionary support of the program by offering non-guardian accounts to the participants. By helping residents become financially self-sufficient, programs like Youth Jobs+ reduce the need for benefits and services while increasing the overall strength of the community.
Youth Jobs+ is a San Francisco-wide summer program aimed at assisting teens and young adults in finding summer employment. The program focuses specifically on underserved youth in the city, such as those in foster care, in the justice system, from low-income communities, and those who do not have right-to-work documents.
San Francisco Federal Credit Union will act as the primary financial institution for the Youth Jobs+ Program, offering non guardian accounts, as well as, direct deposit, a debit card, and access to Online and Mobile Banking, including Bill Pay and Mobile Deposit.
