San Jacinto Education Foundation names Altura CU Business of the Year

SAN JACINTO, CA (May 10, 2015) – The San Jacinto Education Foundation recently named Altura Credit Union as the 2015 Business of the Year in recognition of its creation and sponsorship of the local Student of the Month program.

Foundation President Jerry Peebles said Altura received this accolade “by supporting the youth of San Jacinto, the San Jacinto Unified School District and the community of San Jacinto through sponsorship of theStudent of the Month program.”  Altura was honored at a reception in late April.

The Foundation’s activities include funding mini grants to teachers, recognizing art students, donating to special school district funds and creating the Edward Hyatt Athletic Hall of Fame to honor San Jacinto High School’s outstanding athletes.
