Sanger selected to join Arkansas Business Group of up and coming leaders

FORT SMITH, AR (June 16, 2015) — United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) Market Vice President Noel Sanger has been selected by Arkansas Business to join its 2015 group of 40 Under 40 honorees.

Sanger, along with his fellow 40 Under 40 designees, will be honored at a luncheon in Little Rock on June 24, and featured in the June 25 edition of Arkansas Business.

“I thank Arkansas Business for selecting me and my UFCU team for supporting me,” Sanger said. “My philosophy has always been to incorporate inspiration, advocacy and mentorship into the workplace. I believe when one of us does well, we all do well.”

Sanger joined UFCU as Arkansas Market VP in 2011. His dedication to employee development has been a strong point in his career. UFCU was recognized by Arkansas Business as one of the 2014 Best Places to Work in the state, a designation largely stemming from the results of an employee satisfaction survey, and community involvement.

Sanger was a top five finalist in the 2014 competition for CUES Next Top Credit Union Executive. He also represented Arkansas in Washington D.C. at the Cornerstone League of Young Professional Advisors.

Sanger is president of The First Tee of Fort Smith, serves on the Fort Smith Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and chaired the Allocation and Volunteer Committee for United Way. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, a volunteer coach for the Fort Smith Express Soccer Club, and established programs to encourage attendance at several local schools.
