On November 5, 2018 at the York Chapter of Credit Unions meeting, Sara Zambrano, from First Capital Federal Credit Union, was selected as the 2019 Credit Union Ambassador. Sara competed in the local competition against Naijia McGhee from White Rose Credit Union. Sara will move on to represent the York Chapter of Credit Unions in the Credit Union Ambassador of Pennsylvania contest in May 2019. As the chapter winner she will receive a check for $250 for her win.
Sara joined First Capital Federal Credit Union in 2017 as a Member Service Representative. She is now a Member Service Officer at the West York Branch. Sara is married and has a 5-year-old daughter.
Naijia McGhee is a Senior Member Service Representative at White Rose Credit Union. He has been with White Rose since March. As the runner-up, Naijia will receive $100.
