SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union announces five-year partnership with the University Foundation at Sacramento State

Partnership includes presenting sponsorship of Staff Appreciation Picnic and Recognition Events

SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union has established a five-year partnership with the University Foundation on behalf of Sacramento State to support staff recognition programs and events, serving as presenting sponsor of the university’s Annual Staff Appreciation Picnic and Staff Recognition and Service Awards. On June 5, University leaders attended the Staff Appreciation Picnic to celebrate the return of the event, which had not been held since 2019.

“Our staff are at the heart of Sacramento State, and it was wonderful to come together to celebrate their dedication and contributions,” said Machelle Martin, vice president for People and Climate at Sacramento State. “We are grateful to SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union for their partnership and for supporting our campus community.”

“Bringing people together and celebrating the education community is at the heart of what we do,” said Josh Smith, vice president of school and community relations at SchoolsFirst FCU. “It is our honor to support this popular campus tradition and recognize the hardworking staff at Sacramento State.”
