Second Annual Drive, Drop & Donate Shred & Recycle Day to benefit DuPage County students in need

NAPERVILLE, IL (May 28, 2015) — The community is invited to attend DuPage Credit Union’s Second Annual Drive, Drop & Donate Shred & Recycle Day to benefit DuPage County students in need on Friday, June 19th at its Naperville Operation Center, 1515 Bond Street.

Free Electronic Recycling and Shredding provided by Citadel:

Electronic Recycling 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Shred Day 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monetary donations will be welcomed and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit local students in need.

This is a great opportunity to help kids right here in DuPage County and get rid of your clutter all at the same time, said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions. Were about halfway to our goal of raising $20,000, which will be used to buy 1,000 backpacks and school supplies to stuff them with.

The backpacks will be handed out to students attending the Annual Back-to-School Fair on August 5th at the Odeum in Villa Park.
