SECU honors N.C. school employees with a Valentine’s thank you

RALEIGH, NC – State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU), a financial cooperative that serves North Carolina’s public school employees, is taking the opportunity to say “Thank You” to the dedicated folks who work in the State’s hometown schools.  The special appreciation ad for teachers, transportation and facilities staff, and administrative personnel will run in community newspapers statewide around Valentine’s Day.  SECU is running this ad to spotlight the valuable roles educators and support staff have in guiding their students.

“State Employees’ Credit Union recognizes that school employees work long hours, well beyond the school day, and give generously to their students, helping to shape them into empowered and successful young adults,” states Sandra Jones, SECU Senior Vice President of Member Communications.  “As school employees mentor, guide and inspire students to aim high and dream big, it’s important to acknowledge and show appreciation for their dedication in leading our State’s future.”
