EDINBURG, TEXAS (December 13, 2022) — Security First Federal Credit Union has appointed compliance expert Michelle Stanley as Chief Compliance Officer. Stanley joins the executive team of the Rio Grande Valley’s largest homegrown credit union.

Mrs. Stanley comes to Security First from Baylor Health Care System Credit Union in Dallas, Texas, where she served as Vice President of Operations.
“I am excited to join the Security First Federal Credit Union family,” said Mrs. Stanley. “I look forward to evolving the credit union’s compliance initiatives while continuing to provide the utmost service and safety for Security First, its members, and the Rio Grande Valley communities we serve.”
Mrs. Stanley holds a Master of Business Administration degree from LeTourneau University and is certified in Bank Secrecy Act (BSACS), Compliance (CUCE), and Credit Union Financial Counseling (CCUFC). Mrs. Stanley is also expected to graduate from Southwest CUNA Management School (SCMS) in 2023. Mrs. Stanley currently serves as the Southwest CUNA Management School Alumni Ambassador for the Class of 2023 and previously served as Vice President of the Dallas Chapter of Credit Unions. Mrs. Stanley is married and has two wonderful children. In her spare time, she loves to make homemade cards.
